I’ve focused on using genAI for creative tasks for the last few days. Unlike vibecoding, there isn’t a “wrong”, but I’ve certainly been frustrated by many of the tools. To make graphic output useful, for example, you need to have consistent characters, or backgrounds, or 3D models of a space you can move a camera around in.
I have workflows that make some of those easier, but it’s still not great for production use.
Here is a tool, though, that I think is great for posters: lovart.ai. I am not a paid shill, I just wanted to highlight how it does what you need (make nice posters) with the basic controls you want (put text into a separate layer so you can edit it directly).
You can theme it using images, and the editing function is straightforward (although still not perfect — it does not carry fonts over).
